Welcome to the Lacey Family homepage. The main aim of this site is to publish the genealogy of the Lacey Family. Within these pages you can find family trees and biographical information of our ancestors.
The earliest ancestor I have is my 4th great-grandfather, Henry LACEY (1781 - 1838), but it is his son, Benjamin LACEY (1807 - 1845), who went to India, whom most of the current research is focused on.
Benjamin is the progenitor of a long and prolific line of Lacey's in India, encompassing all walks of life from doctors to administrators to soldiers.
